This introductory course in Oncology Massage will cover myths, facts, contraindications and adaptations to massage for cancer patients. You will learn the most common complaints of cancer patients and how massage can address them, as well as common side effects of chemotherapy and how to adjust massage for them. In this class, you will learn how to reshape your technique, pacing, frequency and positioning to maximize client comfort during massage. This highly adaptive massage is appropriate for cancer patients recently diagnosed, in the midst of treatment, in remission, or at the end of life.

Raizelah Bayen has been a practicing healing artist for over 30 years, offering both acupressure and massage therapy sessions, as well as instruction in yoga, massage and wellness workshops.
