Pain In the Neck – Effective Therapeutic Neck Massage

Class Description:
Did you know there are nearly 100 muscles in the neck?! In this hands-on class, you will learn more about cervical anatomy, potential causes of neck pain, and treatment techniques to help ease discomfort and restore mobility in the neck. We’ll cover ALL of the neck, including attachments to the thoracic area, and the anterior neck!

You will also discover the relationship between neck rigidity, jaw tension, and overuse of the eyes. This class is a lifesaver for all massage therapists who treat clients with cervical pain, from long hours at a desk job, to auto accidents and fall injuries.

Please bring the following to class: 1 massage table, 1 set of sheets to be used while you are on the massage table, face cradle cover, blanket, massage emollient, hand sanitizer, and paper and pen for note-taking. Also, please wear clothes you can move easily in.

Note: Nancy is teaching TWO classes on this same day; this class in the morning, and a separate Shoulder Massage class in the afternoon/evening. For more information on the second class, visit our website at www.ascendce.com
